The Fellowship in Gastroenterology by Medvarsity is designed to equip healthcare professionals with advanced skills and knowledge in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders. The program covers the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of diseases affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon.

The Fellowship in Gastroenterology is open to both medical graduates (MBBS) and postgraduates (MD/MS/DNB) from all specialties. You should be registered with the National Medical Commission or the State Medical Councils, and you should complete the Certificate and Advanced Certificate Course in Gastroenterology by Medvarsity to enroll in this fellowship.

In the Fellowship in Gastroenterology by Medvarsity, you will learn to diagnose and manage a range of gastrointestinal disorders, including those affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon. The course emphasizes evidence-based practice and includes training in endoscopic procedures and the interpretation of endoscopic findings, providing a comprehensive understanding of gastrointestinal health.

The Fellowship in Gastroenterology by Medvarsity combines comprehensive online learning with a 12-week clinical rotation at a leading corporate hospital, providing practical experience under expert supervision. The course emphasizes evidence-based practice and includes interactive learning through videos and case discussions, equipping participants with advanced skills in diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal disorders.

Clinical observership (also known as the contact program or clinical attachment) refers to the invaluable clinical exposure you will gain through 12 weeks of training at a leading corporate hospital. During this training, you will study alongside leading doctors at the hospital, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in a clinical setting. This practical experience is crucial for developing your clinical skills and confidence, ensuring you are well-prepared to manage and treat gastric patients with complications effectively.

Upon completing the Fellowship in Gastroenterology, including the final assessment and clinical observership, you will receive a fellowship certification from BAC, the CPD Standards Office, UK, and AHERF, significantly enhancing your professional stature and expanding your career horizons.

Upon completion of the  Fellowship in Gastroenterology, you will be accredited with  50 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours by the CPD Standards Office in the United Kingdom.

The course assessments are conducted at multiple intervals as the course progresses, with each chapter ending in a multiple-choice quiz. If you do not clear the quiz at any level or the final assessment on your first attempt, you will have three attempts to do so. Should you fail to clear the final assessment within these three attempts, you will need to pay reactivation fees to continue. To access the course material online, visit “medvarsity.com” and log in using your mobile number or email ID. After entering the OTP sent to your registered number or email, click “Continue.” Navigate to “My Courses” in your profile to access the enrolled course. By clicking “Start” on the course card, you will be directed to the learning page where all content, including videos and reading material, is available online. The videos cannot be downloaded but can be viewed anytime within the course duration. You can pause and resume modules at your own pace within the course timeframe. The course includes a 3 months clinical observership at a leading corporate hospital. All courses are in English. The National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly known as the Medical Council of India (MCI), does not recognize courses offered through online or blended learning platforms. However, in collaboration with leading industry experts, we provide state-of-the-art learning content aimed at equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary for proficient patient care through this course.
